With a renowned trajectory of more than 20 years focused on company counsel, Álvaro Moraga is the leading partner of the Firm’s Business (Corporate, Tax, Structures & Strategy) and Fintech Teams.
In addition, he serves as director for various companies and non-profit organizations, and as counsel for various embassies and diplomatic missions that are certified in Chile.
Education
Attorney since the year 2000.
Álvaro Moraga studied at the School of Law of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where he was awarded his Bachelor of Laws Degree in the year 1999.
In addition, he was awarded the degrees of Master of Tax Direction (2002) and a Master of Business Law (2008), both in the same university.
Additionally, he was awarded a Diploma in Corporations and Corporate Governance from Universidad Católica de Chile.

ACADEMICS
He is a professor of the courses of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Tax and Financial Derivatives, for the Master of Financial Direction (MDF) program offered by the School of Business of Universidad Adolfo Ibañez.
Between 2001 and 2014, he was a Professor for the General Staff of the Chilean Navy, obtaining the Professor’s Medal for his trajectory in 2012.
He was a Professor of Administrative Law and Tax Law at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez.
